your art is poignant. it hurts my feelings. it replaces my confusion about humankind's lack of humanity with a kind of clouded clarity. it instills in me a panic which diffuses my depression. it reminds me of all the other holocausts no one mentions or wants to rememember. i want to say you're brilliant, but i wonder if that would be the case had Nazi crimes not provided you w/ so much fodder for your art. but the question of your brilliance is irrelevant. yours is a necessary voice in a time when xenophobia has taken over the conscience of my country. unfortunately, not many are listening. your art has inspired me to do more, scream louder. but like a parody of your portraits, my hands and feet sit before me amputated, useless while i remain beautifully kept.

helnwein lo conoci hace 15 años cuando tenia 7 años y lo encontre lo maximo.
es lo mejor y su obra cada vez que la veo me produce una profunda emocion. espero alguna vez verlo en chile, que aquio hay una gran comunidad de fanaticos silenciosos esperando ese momento.

Faz tres anos que por acaso descobri seu site e sua obra impressionante. Fiquei surpreso e maravilhado com sua tecnica, fiquei impressionado por sua densidade pisicologica, como numa denuncia silenciosa em todas as obras, muitas vezes atraves de um simples olhar. Algo que nos tira de nossa tradicional posicao de comodismo e nos faz refeltir sobre a propria exsitencia decadente que rege o nosso tempo e de um modo geral, parte da historia da humanidade. Seu site tornou-se uma especie de lugar especial, visita-lo motiva a reflexao, ativa minha vontade de pintar e de realizar videos e video-instalacoes. Tornou-se um sonho poder conhece-lo pessoalmente alem de ver seus trabalhos espetaculares!!!

Ihre Arbeit interessiert und fasziniert mich schon seit Kindheit an, wenngleich ich sie damals aus nur ästhetischen Gründen geliebt habe. Schade, dass die Werke auf dem Bildschirm nicht in ihrer Originalgröße wirken dürfen!

My friend and Scenographer Mr. Erhard Rom just a moment ago tuned me into your site and works.
I am inspired yet enraged. You work expresses a high context of thinking and feeling. It grabs my mind and soul, brings me to a land inside my body, truth of existence. Yes Truth. Your Scenography is explosive and intriguing. The world that you create on stage is zeitgeist. It is alive, it speaks the truth, and it expresses the human experience.
Enraged: I live in one of the most interesting cities in the world, New York City, yet I am decentralized by USA and the constrictive masses that are imprisoned by their own fear.
My country is in a state of repetition, Generally new ideas do not exist, and the society needs to feel safe and live in bleakness of art and vision. We repeat and resurrect the past. Our films, theater and thinking are a mere regurgitation of what once was. We are turning in on our selves closing the doors to the world around us. New Ideas, New visions are generally not excepted. In the USA a being is only Good if they have embraced capitalism and the values that have brainwash society to think they need to have what their neighbor has, a TV, a video player, the newest item on the market. I am on an island, a wasteland, trapped were I cannot express my vision. I continue but I often think that I must wage artistic and visual war on the United States of America is it worth it? Yes, but all the creative individuals are decentralized by capitalism. Eventually they will implode in to valueless reality. We need to centralize as a world.
You have lifted my spirits and my sense of self, knowing that it is ok to think in live a realm of dreams, I am and all ways will be a dreamer. I will continue the path of truth, knowing that I am not alone. Knowing that what is in side my, body, mind, heart and soul cannot be stopped.
I am an atom Bomb of expression; all art in USA is suppressed at this moment, it will be released.

Bin ich blind? Wo ist der online-shop? Wie kann man Bilder von Ihnen bekommen? Geht das irgendwie online?
Ihre Bilder haben mich nicht geschockt, aber sehr nachdenklich gemacht. Es hat noch nie ein Künstler geschafft, mich mit seiner Kunst zu faszinieren. Allerdings gibt es eine Sache, die ich nicht verstehe....

Me parecio´impecable toooda la obra que ví,si bien conocía algo(por el teatro en Argentina ,etc.Esto fue rebelador,la página es excelente,no dá ganas de salir de ella.Los dibujos a-lu-ci-nan-tes!!!!
Soy artista plástica,pero luego de ver esto,creo debo pensar en otro calificativo para presentarme....ojalá la página que intento armar ,algún día pueda ser estéticamente tan maravillosa...En fin ,ya es mucho¿no?
