Wien - Von der Wiener Schule des Phantastischen Realismus über Foto- und Hyperrealismus der 1970er-Jahre bis in die Gegenwart führt die Ausstellung "Ir/real. Oberhausen (dpa/lnw) - Nach San Francisco und Sankt Petersburg sind Werke von Gottfried Helnwein erstmals in der Ludwig Galerie in Oberhausen zu sehen. Unter dem Titel »Beautiful Children« zeigt die Galerie vom 12. Juni an rund 90 Gemälde, Fotografien und Plakate des österreichischen Künstlers. Zu den Werken aus seinen vergangenen 15 Schaffensjahren gehören das Gemälde einer Madonna mit Kind inmitten einer Riege von SS-Schergen und ein Porträt im Großformat von Marilyn Manson mit Mickey-Maus-Ohren. Die Schau läuft bis zum 2. Oktober.

Und es bleibt doch eine tiefe Kluft zwischen der Ästhetisierung des Behindertseins und der Realität. ...
